Nice one Vinodini, I guess growing we all have to close some doors, burn some bridges, not because we hate them but probably because they dont make sense anymore and they dont make us grow anymore. Better to leave an anchor behind if it pulls you down!
Thanks Vinay. These anchors are delusional at times, its only when you start swaying is when you realize where you're headed.
This is beautiful..sometimes we just have to let go and move on..:)
Thanks R Vyas. It's not easy to let go but sometimes that's the best thing you could do for yourself.
Beautiful, yet sharp writing..
Thanks Sahiti.Glad you like it.
A no-fuss, crisp writing, Vinodini. In life at times we do have to shut close some doors tight to find life anew, to look for new doors, new paths. Beautifully written!
Thanks Beloo. We drag ourselves through situations for years without looking at it from a broader perspective. But its never too late to leave things behind you and open yourself to new avenues.I'm happy you liked it.
Really love this – lots of food for thought here! Thanks for sharing.
Hey thanks Laurel…glad I could get you thinking on something else besides your tangles 🙂
Lovely! very beautiful words..
Thanks Priya 🙂
This was a fantastic poem. It is important that we realise when we need to move on!
Thanks Sophie. It takes a long time for the realization to seep in but whenever it does, its time to seek new things.
You are SO right. It is hard to let go, partly because you want to be sure it is the right decision. Hindsight is always 20/20
Yes Carol you're right…one really needs to be sure that they are taking the right step forward before taking the leap.
I love your poem and that evocative first image of the locked door. Well done!
Thanks Stephanie…glad you like it 🙂
Beautiful… I especially like this line:
"Every possibility that feels right
emerges from nowhere"
Thanks Donna…that's the best part of moving on…the emerging fresh possibilities.
Whoa! You are quite a poet Vinodini!!!! You are such a pleasant discovery! I am so glad with myself haha.
Hey thanks Samik…I'm on cloud nine 😉 !
By the way, I dropped by at your blog and discovered that you're an amazing writer too…much ahead of your age 🙂
