when a writer suffers from a writer's block…….it is so harmful for the environment…hehe he he…..:-P
Yeah Issac…wood if you're using paper and energy if its a computer 🙂
Oh 🙂 That's a sweet take, autobipgraphical.
But true, as a fact. An environmental issue brought to life in 100 words !
Kudos over this piece 🙂
Thanks Sreeja. Sometimes our seemingly mundane habits do more harm than we imagine in a larger perspective.
This one is excellent! Thumbs up!
Thank you Sahiti. You always have such good things to say!
oh how writers harm the environment eh? 🙂 Nice one
Thanks Nabanita. He he, yes some of them do, in their own small ways 😉
Noooo! Say it isn't so! On a lighter note, I think laptops are saving more trees. Just saying 😉 Love this, Vinodini. Big hugs 🙂
Oh yes, it is so Shailaja! Yeah, you're right, laptops and computers are saving trees but are consuming lots of energy ;). It is from fire to frying pan kinda situation.
To be honest, I kept staring at this picture on my screen for a good 4 days and though there wasn't paper, I did write and delete a few. Waste of both, power and energy…that's what I'm guilty of 🙁
So happy you liked it! Hugs and love 🙂
Poor tree…it has to bore the brunt of the writer's block.
Nicely written. 🙂
Thanks Kiran. That's a sad state of most trees. On a serious note its the entire humanity at large to take responsibility of preserving nature and not just writers alone 🙂
A nice take on the prompt Vinodini! Writer's block is something which we all can relate to 🙂
Thanks A. I must admit I had a huge writer's block with regards to this prompt and I turned that into an inspiration 😉
Nice take…trees are life
Thanks Ankita. Plant more life 🙂
A different take on the prompt… nice one 🙂
Thanks Jayanta 🙂
Great perspective …. Loved it.. Those annoying writers..:-) Ha ha ha
He he thanks Eli. Glad you liked it.
Haha.. The last line was awesome !! Wonderful take 😉
Thanks Jyotsna. I guess all of us who write relate to this whimsical side of us 😉
I liked your style of writing! Nice post.
Thank you Karan. Glad you like it 🙂
That was a nice post. And to say you yu compiled all of your thoughts in mere 100 words, it's even nicer 🙂
Thanks Anmol. Yes, the word limit is a bit restricting yet very liberating.
Vinodini this is an absolutely super creative one with the emotions right in place. You couldn't have expressed it better than that.

Hey thanks Vishal. Will surely hop by to read the stories you've written. I'm sure they must be as interesting as the other stories I've read, written by you.
Its harmful na ? both ways..for the writer and for the environment… 😀
Hehehe Maniparna, yes they are of course 😉
Nice read…..happy that not using pen and paper..only lappy:)
Thanks A. Yeah thank god for the laptop… Just go easy on the energy consumption though 🙂
That's very creatively done! Really i never understood why these writers crumpled the papers and keep throwing them away. Never heard of erasers? 🙂 What a beautiful way to convey an important message in 100 words. Great job, Vinodini!
Thanks Beloo. Guess the act of crumpling the paper into balls gives a vent to their frustration! You're right, using an eraser would have been a better option 🙂
Such a touching & real tale…
Good one, Vinodini 🙂
Thanks Anita 🙂
