From choices to decisions
From likes to dislikes
From taste buds to hunger pangs
From alphabets to account numbers
From what you possess to what you don’t
Conditioned as we are,
the only way to be
a ‘Good’ giving woman
All you do is
Give up
Give in
or
Give it your all.

Wonderful! You might try replacing the last word in the first stanza. If you change it from "don't" to "won't", it may be more powerful, but I really like this one. New follower here. I'm stopping by from the "A to Z" challenge, and I look forward to visiting again!

Well, the connotation words will really change if it becomes "won't" instead of "don't" and yes, that's another way of looking at it but I try to live in the present moment, so it has to be "don't" for me 🙂 Thanks for the feedback though…hope to see you around <3

Well, not always what I prefer Swathi, but being a woman does make you do it most of the time. Glad you like it.
So sad, women should actually have to go through this in real 🙁
Actually Sheetal, its only worth the whole deal when a woman does it willingly. But there are times that social conditioning forces her to do it, which indeed is sad.
I prefer to Give it your all. Like your words and how you presented them.

now that's a powerful write. Whether to Give in, give up or give it your all, it should always be a choice, not something that is taught or forced.
