I really love this. Very thought provoking.
Thank you 🙂
Wonderful! You might try replacing the last word in the first stanza. If you change it from "don't" to "won't", it may be more powerful, but I really like this one. New follower here. I'm stopping by from the "A to Z" challenge, and I look forward to visiting again!

Hey, thanks Sylvia. Glad to have you here. Hope you're enjoying the challenge. Well, the connotation words will really change if it becomes "won't" instead of "don't" and yes, that's another way of looking at it but I try to live in the present moment, so it has to be "don't" for me 🙂 Thanks for the feedback though…hope to see you around <3
Nice one, Vinodini. Makes one think and reflect.

Thanks Shantala. Worth pondering on 🙂
Beautiful, especially the last four lines. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you 🙂
Give it your all indeed! So beautiful and so true 🙂
Thanks Soumya. We do try and it give it our all…don't we?
Give it your all is what I prefer 🙂 Good one Vinodini 🙂
God is a Gamer
Well, not always what I prefer Swathi, but being a woman does make you do it most of the time. Glad you like it.
So sad, women should actually have to go through this in real 🙁
Actually Sheetal, its only worth the whole deal when a woman does it willingly. But there are times that social conditioning forces her to do it, which indeed is sad.
I prefer to Give it your all. Like your words and how you presented them.
Thank you Suzy. 'Give it all' is good as long as you like to doing it 🙂
now that's a powerful write. Whether to Give in, give up or give it your all, it should always be a choice, not something that is taught or forced.
Thanks Raj, wish it was a choice. But sadly, most of the times there's no choice for us women.
Beautiful – And I would go with "give it your all" 🙂
Great 🙂
Loved each line, very hard to choose one favorite! Marvelous, Vinodini! 🙂
Thanks Shalz! I'm blushing now 😉
Ooh, I like this! I really like this Vinnie! The last stanza is potentially powerful, assuming that the woman chooses to give up, give in, or give it her all! 🙂 <3
We are trained to give in all the time, aren't we? I say, we need to give it our all! Nice one! 🙂
